Perform Feasibility Study
Before embarking on your laboratory project, you need to know if it will be cost-effective. Knapp • Frazer Consulting performs feasibility studies that take staffing, physical plant, and your anticipated test menu and volume into consideration. Cost analyses are performed for each specialty and include general equipment, clinical analyzers, and consumables; specimen collection, processing, and storage; regulatory compliance costs, including certification and licensing fees, proficiency testing, and technical consultant fees. Reimbursement is estimated based upon the insurance mix of your patient population. Each study concludes with a one-sheet summary of monthly costs and revenue and a profitability estimate.
